Taber Wetz

Managing Member & Fractional CFO

CFO-first executive with an analytical edge. Builds the automations, metrics, and reporting systems that help leadership teams actually understand their companies — so the next decision is the right one.

About Taber

Taber is a Fractional CFO and co-founder of Local Fractional. He partners with growth-stage leadership teams to turn operating data into clear, confident decision-making — cash flow planning, unit economics, capital allocation, and the KPI systems that actually move the business. Twenty-plus years of executive roles across technology, energy, and services have given him the operator instincts that come from running leadership teams through Series A growth, private-equity-backed roll-ups, and operator-led exits.

His real edge is an analytical mindset. Taber loves building the automations, dashboards, and scorecards that make a company’s numbers finally make sense — so leadership is not flying blind and everyone is looking at the same truth. When the data is clean and the reporting cadence is steady, strategy conversations get sharper and decisions move faster. It is the EOS Integrator approach with a CFO’s toolkit behind it.

His path into finance wound through the fine arts and design world, and that background is where his marketing and brand instincts come from. Clients occasionally tap him for marketing strategy or design leadership, but his primary engagement is always as the CFO — the analytical, numbers-focused executive on the leadership team. He works primarily with $5M–$50M revenue businesses where the founder needs a senior finance operator in the seat without the cost of a full-time hire. Taber also manages Summit Fox Advisors and lives in the Dallas–Fort Worth area with his family.

Areas of Expertise

Where Taber’s engagements typically focus.

Financial Strategy & FP&A

Cash flow forecasting, unit economics, capital allocation, and scenario modeling that makes the next financial decision obvious.

Automation & Analytics

Dashboards, KPI scorecards, and workflow automations that turn raw data into leadership-grade insight — without the weekly manual assembly.

EOS Integrator Mindset

Entrepreneurial Operating System, run as a lived practice: scorecards, rocks, weekly L10s, and a leadership team that owns the numbers together. Taber loves integrating EOS into companies so strategy actually sticks.

Go-to-Market Systems with Financial Teeth

ICP definition, positioning, and channel mix — tied to unit economics, CAC/LTV, and contribution margin. Pipeline is only useful if it pencils out on the P&L.

Finance ↔ Sales & Marketing Alignment

Bridges the gap between the finance seat and the revenue team: shared definitions of a qualified lead, shared views of pipeline velocity, and shared accountability for the numbers both sides report.

Leadership Partner & Decision Coach

Sits on the leadership team, owns the numbers, and drives the accountability rhythm that turns strategy into quarterly and weekly execution. The kind of CFO who helps owners and operators make better calls, faster.
