Local Fractional Founders
Chris Gauvin
Managing Member & Fractional CFO
Helping Dallas-Fort Worth SMB owners turn financial clarity into operating leverage and a sellable business.
About Chris
Chris is the financial half of Local Fractional. He builds financial systems that turn the chaos of a fast-growing SMB into the kind of monthly clarity that lets owners make decisions in minutes instead of months. His specialty: trade services and construction businesses preparing for sale, recapitalization, or the transition from owner-operator to true CEO.
Before Local Fractional, Chris led finance functions through multiple successful exits in construction trade services. He has lived the gap between “the books are technically clean” and “the books tell the story a buyer needs to hear.” Most owners do not know that gap exists until the LOI lands and the diligence team starts pulling threads.
He works primarily with $2M–$50M revenue businesses that have outgrown bookkeeping but cannot yet justify a full-time CFO. His engagements typically begin with a 60-day Chart of Accounts restructure, a 13-week cash flow forecast, and a KPI scorecard the owner can read in five minutes.
